Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

We listed Lenny as Basset too because we thought a bassett lover would like him but he is much smaller than a bassett and I really believe he could be a full blooded Dachshund(not a miniture) He is about 6-8 months old and weighs about 25 lbs this is about what Dachshunds get to be. Both these kinds of dogs are known to do well in small quarters and Lenny has the disposition of a saint. Lenny knew exactly what to do when we turned the TV on and curled up next to my daughter to "watch". He seems to be very quiet and gentle at this time., he was a great car rider He is housebroken as he has not had a single accident in the house.Lenny has the personality I would choose if I were looking for a new friend. Lenny is going to New Hampshire for his forever home!!
