Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Cleo is a beautiful 7 month old Beagle Mix who weighs about 30 lbs and she won't get much bigger, so she is a great size for anyone! She has come a long way from that terrified little girl, covered in poo and cowering in the corner of a big scary rural shelter waiting to be killed the next day! Her foster Mom saved her in the nick of time and took her home to be shown what Love is! That was just 2 months ago and since then she has blossomed into a loving and loyal companion with an awesome personality! She is a sweet and playful girl who just wants to be loved. She is completely potty trained and crate trained, she walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car, especially if she is going to the Dog Park! She is wonderful with children and loves to play with other dogs! She has a bit of separation anxiety from her frightening experience at the shelter and before then, when she was alone and didn't have a family to Love her. But she is making great progress and gaining more confidence every day, so all she needs is a little patience and lots of Love to show her she is safe and she will never be abandoned again! She isn't quite ready to be left in her crate all day, but she does OK with a few hours at a time. So if someone is able to stay with her for most of the day or take her to a Doggy Daycare, she will overcome her anxiety in no time! Cleo is eager to please and learns quickly, which makes her very trainable. She is already well on her way to learning all her commands. Her appearance is very striking and gets a lot of attention when out and about with her Foster Mom. She has a gorgeous face and unique coloring with both blue and red ticking, a beautiful combination! She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention, so she is ready to go to her forever home today!"
