Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Lemon is about 10 years old and 30 pounds. She is good with other dogs, although she is much more interested in being with people than with other pooches. She is very sweet and will make an excellent companion. Lemon's foster family believes that she has had some hearing loss, which isn't uncommon for many older dogs. She follows her people from room to room, and doesn't like being left outside without a person being with her. (She may have been put outside for extended periods and/or on a tie in her prior home.) Lemon likes walks but for her 10 minutes or so a couple times a day is just about right. She is excellent on the leash. Lemon is very quiet, both inside & outside. She is mostly house trained but should go outside every several hours to avoid a pee accident inside. Lemon sleeps through the night just fine and is often awaken by her people to start her new day. There was some bacteria detected in her urine sample which may be a cause of feeling the need to potty. She has recently finished up antibiotics to clear this up. Her spay and dental now complete, and she is very healthy. Lemon is ready for adoption!
