Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Sage may be one of the best behaved pups we have ever had in rescue. He was quickly crate trained and housebroken. And he's proven adaptable... living first in a home with many dogs, cats, children, and a fenced yard... and then moving to a home with just two adults in an upstairs apartment. Sage has some of the standard hound charactaristics... such as the darker snout, longer ears, and laid back personality. He is a beautiful yellow / red color. This boy loves to curl up with his foster mom and keep her warm while they watch TV. He's a very sweet pup that deserves the best of loving homes. Can that be yours? Now about 5-6 months old and ~ 35#, we expect he will be 60# or more when full grown. ***UPDATE: Sage has now been sponsored by Santa, so the requested donation for Sage's adoption is reduced to $175.
