Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Pookie is a little beagle mix that has arrived in rescue with a broken leg and some lacerations. She was apparently hit by a car. She is on the mend from that awful incident, and now we find out she is also Heartworm Positive. Pookie has gone to foster care where she will be resting until all medical procedures are completed. We expect her to be fully recovered and ready for adoption in June 2017. **Pookie is not doing well at all. Her leg did not heal and she needs ortho surgery. PLUS, she is having a hard time with her heartworm treatment. She is in for a rough couple of months. Donations for vet care graciously accepted!
