Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

*Evelyn is about 21 lbs. and a 'young' 12 years old, as she shows no signs of slowing down, no stiffness, etc. She goes by 'Evie' and has had a year in transition but she is taking it all in stride. She is calm in the house (until her foster family gets the leash out, at which time she gets excited and sounds off with that adorable beagle howl), and she is very good on dog walks. She has no issues with other dogs and others that she encounters on her walks. She is living with several other dogs in her current foster home, but she would be fine if she goes to an adopter as an only dog. She is not quite 100% house trained, so she goes outside every few hours and is good about doing her jobs then. Evie has a mild skin condition known as seborrhea. She has been getting baths each week with a prescription medicated shampoo, but her coat and skin look normal with no areas of redness or bald spots. She is a little underweight but she has an appetite, so that should be rectified soon as well. She enjoys snacking on fruits and veggies from time to time, as well as the typical dog treats. Evie sleeps soundly at night on her dog bed in the corner, but wakes up enthusiastically for breakfast! Dogs listed here have entered our program and have received a basic level of vet care including: vaccines (DHLPP & Rabies); bloodwork (heartworm test); deworm and deflea; spay or neuter; vet exam. Each pet comes with one free vet follow up consultation at Red Bank Vet Hospital. Fees requested at time of adoption help with a small part of the care provided, and are non-refundable.
